情态动词与助动词

情态动词具有一定的词汇含义，情态动词后接不带“to”的不定式共同构成复合谓语。情态动词可以直接构成否定句和疑问句。助动词除了构成否定句和疑问句外，谓语动词的时态除了一般现时和一般过去是通过谓语动词的形态变化来构成外，其它时态都需要通过助动词来构成。

介词、冠词的运用模式用

介词是一种虚词，不能单独使用，必须带上宾语构成介词短语，或依附在不及物动词后面使用。介词短语可以在句子中充当状语，定语，表语和宾语补语，英语介词发达，有的介词还兼有连词或副词词性。冠词也是虚词，不能单独使用，必须跟名词一起使用，对名词起限定作用。冠词也可以用在形容词或分词前，表示具有形容词性质一类的人或事物，相当于名词。例如：the rich富人, the poor穷人, the young年青人, the old 老年人, the following下面的, the wounded伤员。

①介词兼副词：

介词的使用比较复杂，其复杂程度仅次于动词，有的介词可以随意加宾语，有的则构成固定短语，在英语课本里就有许多介词短语，中学要求掌握的介词大概有70个左右。介词的运用模式有：动词+介词；介词+宾语；介词+名词+of。一些介词还可以带复合宾语，如with time going
